How to Play
Desktop Controls

Pause Controls

Difficulty
The grid size and mine count adapt to your screen. Small screens get a 9x9 grid with 10 mines, medium screens a 12x12 grid with 22 mines, and large screens a 16x16 grid with 40 mines. The first click is always safe.
Scoring
Winning awards a time bonus — the faster you clear the board, the higher your score. Points are also earned for each safe cell revealed. Your personal best and last five scores are stored locally in your browser.
Pro Tips
- 1Start by clicking near the center for the best chance of a large reveal
- 2A cell showing '1' next to a single unrevealed cell means that cell is a mine
- 3Flag mines as you find them to reduce mental load
- 4Use elimination: if all mines around a number are flagged, its other neighbors are safe
- 5The first click is always safe, so don't hesitate
